Hello ladies, hope everybody had a lovely Valentine’s Day with lots of chocolates and flowers.
Dilys and I are looking for your feedback in regard to moving the meetings from St Pat’s Hall to the Neighbourhood Centre in Targo Street. It is a lovely room, air conditioned and the usual facilities (urn/fridge etc). The tables are trestle tables which are light to move, comfortable chairs and there is plenty of parking at the back of the Centre. Some of you may be familiar with the Centre, it is a nice airy room, not as big as the Hall, but enough room for our sessions and oh did I say it was air conditioned!!!!!.
Details – hours 10am – 4pm
Cost - $50.00 – this is $17.00 more than what we pay at St Pat’s, but it is for a longer time (i.e. 6 hours as opposed to 4 hours) and more comfortable and did I say air conditioned???? We should be able to cover the cost so long as there are at least 10 people there. If the numbers are less than that, we may have to all put in enough to pay for the rent (i.e. if 8 ladies are there, the cost would be $6.25).
The only drawback would be the days would have to change, they only have available the last (4th) Sunday in each month available up until the end of the year.
This would be the following dates:
March 22, April 24, May 24, June 28, July 26, August 23, September 27, October 25 and November 22. In regard to April, this means that the ladies that don’t go to the retreat don’t have to miss out on a meeting that month. We have not included December.
If we enjoy the rooms/facilities then we could always book out the next year straight up.
Could you let us have your feelings about this as soon as possible, preferable before the end of this week so that the room can be booked.
If you don’t want to move, then let us know, as we are a group, and need everybody’s input.
We will also email those that we have emails for.
Thanks ladies,
Linda
