As usual, we have not put any dates in March and October because of the retreats.

Dilys and I take this opportunity to thank our lovely ladies and wish you a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year.

Hi ladies, it's Christmas again!!! How fast has this year flown by. Anyhoo, once again we will be having our Christmas Lunch on the 17th December 2017. Last get together for the year.

So, as with other years, we will be having a scrumptious lunch, provided by all of us LOL, and a secret Santa gift to the value of $5.00 (that's to stretch our imaginations).

So if you are going to join us, please let us know and we look forward to seeing you then.

Make and Take 19 November - Jessican Stampin Up Demonstrator

Hi ladies,
We had a great day yesterday, making a beautiful Christmas box and a candle to go into it. The candle was stamped with a lovely dancing lady and quote.
Many thanks to Jessica for a great "lesson".

Just a reminder that next month will be our Christmas break up. The usual will happen, lunch and secret santa.

Simplycrafty 19th November 2017 - MAKE AND TAKE

Hi ladies,
We hope you have all recovered from the Retreat, another great weekend, as always.

Jessica has kindly volunteered to do a make and take with her Stamping Up range. We will be doing stamping on a candle and making a box. If you would like to join in on the make and take, the cost is $7 plus the usual club fee ($8). PLEASE can you let us know as soon as possible if you would like to join in so that Jessica can organise kits etc. The cut off date will be 12th November so that Jessica has plenty of time. Thank you for your cooperation.

Also, Jessica has asked if you have a Stampn Up Catalogue could you bring it with you, thanks ladies.

Christmas in July 2017

Hi all, sorry for the late blog, sometimes life gets in the way of fun, unfortunately.
We had a great Christmas in July, thank you for those that came, lots of chatting and laughter. Dilys, Christina and I showed everybody the amazing art work we did on a recent class with Helen's (Ross aka Lorna Blue) friend, Vicky Phelps drawing crazy birds and faces. Next time I hope you all join us because Vicky is an amazing teacher and Helen is a great host (yummy food).

Simplycrafty 21st May

What a great day we had, a lovely mixed media lesson from Helen of Lorna Blue (http://www.lornabluestudio.com.au) , we did a lovely multi layered A3 page, which we then cut up to make into 6 cards, 3 of each size. Here are a few photos of our day, a bit thank you to Helen for the "make and take" and to the ladies that joined in the fun. Hi all, just to let you know Simplycrafty is on the 21st May 2017.

Helen is going to go with the A3 watercolour card, use mixed media techniques and then use stamps to turn it into approx. 6 cards.
$5 fee for materials which includes watercolour card, paints, inks, card & envelopes and use of stamps & stencils.

Can you please let us know if you are going to do the make and take, so that we can let Helen know in regard to materials etc.

March 2017 Retreat at Chaverim

As we usually do, we had a lovely relaxing weekend, full of fun and laughter. The food was delicious as always, company was great and alot of scrapbooking/painting/mixed media was done. Here are a few pictures to show you what a great weekend it is. Looking forward to the next one in October.

Mixed Media Canvas

We had a great day on Sunday, Dilys gave us a mixed media tutorial and providing us with a canvas and the supplies to make our very own. Everybody enjoyed themselves, laughing, eating and making art. Here are a few photos of the day, for more, go to the Club's facebook page.

Apologies for my last post, I said 15th instead of the 19th February.

Just a reminder, Dilys will be doing a "make and take" for us all this month. Can we have numbers for this so that Dilys can organise things.

We will ask you to bring paints/crayon/gelatoes etc. a bit nearer the date when Dilys has worked it out.

15th February

Hi ladies, we had a lovely day on the 15th January, lots of food,chatting, laughter and of course, crafty stuff.
We welcomed a new lady, Belinda, who is a cardmaker, welcome Belinda we hope to see you again.
As you know, a few of us have been into the mixed media art journalling recently and a few have shown interest. We have decided to do a few "show and tell" days. In February, Dilys will be doing a mixed media canvas. We hope you'll come along and join us, I am sure it will be a fun day.
