June 6

Hi ladies, well Mother's Day seemed to be quite a success with all of us (except Dilys unfortunately she had to go home sick - she is fine now and back at work). We had a lovely lunch, chocolates and then afternoon tea. Thank you ladies for all your contributions to lunch and my expanding waistline.
This is just a reminder that our next meeting is on the 6th June, a little bit earlier because of the long weekend the week after. Also it's the papercraft show down in Brisbane on the long weekend, which is a fantastic place to go to see all the latest in the scrapbooking/cardmaking/stamping etc., scene and of course someone we all know is doing a class (okay its Petrina) and we all wish her well with the class. I think there might be a few from our group down there that weekend, if so enjoy yourselves, Dilys and I have been for the last 4 years and have always had a great time and spent far too much money.
Well ladies, look forward to seeing you all on the 6th June.

Mother's Day

Hello everybody, I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend.
Thank you to those that have responded to the email about Mother's Day. We will go ahead as usual on the 9th May and hope to make it a special day.
To plan the menu for lunch, could we please have some idea of your contribution, just so we aren't eating choc cake and Tim Tams all day (not that that's a problem with us LOL).
