21st Novembeer

Our next get together is on 21st November 2021. After 12 years, Dilys and I have decided to call it a day with Simplycrafty. As of December, we will be “retiring” the Club. It’s been a hard decision after all these years and the great friendships formed. In November we will have the Club equipment on show for those that wish to purchase any of it. All remaining equipment and funds will be donated to The Angel Community Group. We selected this community service as it is local to Bundaberg and they do a fantastic job for the community. We thank you all for your support and friendship over the years and wish everybody well in the future. We will have the Club equipment on sale in Novemberand after our December get together will donate the remaining to Angel Community. Our last get together will be our Christmas Party in December. Christmas Break Up 2020

Thank you to the ladies that came along and celebrated our Christmas beak up. We all had a lot of fun, lots to eat and some great secret santa gifts. It was lovely that Coral (Katie's mum) came to have lunch with us, she is an amazing lady. We gifted the memory book to her for Melanie and Bev printed out her poem one for Melanie and one for Coral, who loved it. We spent time with her sharing memories of Katie and I think she enjoyed spending time with us and chatting about life in general. She said that Melanie is fine and was in Brisbane but would be spending Christmas in Bundaberg with her. Melanie will be going to live in Brisbane with her uncle and his family. We had our usual Christmas Secret Santa and Riley was there to be Santa's helper, photos to follow. There is also a group photo of us all with Coral (excusing the one of "you know who" trying to open her eyes). We hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. Retreat

Well, another retreat has been and gone. i think after the past few months everybody was glad to get away for a few days of crafting, chatting and a few laughs. We also had a small memorial for our fellow crafter Kate, who sadly we lost earlier this year, her smiling face was missed by all. A few photos are attached of the weekend. Reminder that the next Simplycrafty will be our Christmas breakup. We will have our usual Christmas lunch and secret santa gift to the value of $10.00. Christmas in July 2019

Hi all, we had another lovely Christmas in July, thank you all for joining us. Lots of creativity going on and OMG, lovely food was contributed by everyone, thank you for the extra kilos gained that day.

Our next gathering is on 18th August and we would love you to join us.

Unfortunately there will be no Simplycrafty for September and October as Dilys and I will be holidaying in Canada in September and the retreat is on in October.

We will share the details in regard to the retreat as soon as we hear from Kerry and/or Sandra.

Christmas decoration

Christmas in July

We had a wonderful day Sunday at our Christmas in July party. Shandell demonstrated how to make a pop up box card, which we all did, lots of fund.
We had a delicious lunch and of course, secret Santa gift exchanges.

Hi ladies, it's Christmas again!!! How fast has this year flown by. Anyhoo, once again we will be having our Christmas Lunch on the 17th December 2017. Last get together for the year.

Make and Take 19 November - Jessican Stampin Up Demonstrator

Hi ladies,
We had a great day yesterday, making a beautiful Christmas box and a candle to go into it. The candle was stamped with a lovely dancing lady and quote.

Simplycrafty 19th November 2017 - MAKE AND TAKE

Hi ladies,
We hope you have all recovered from the Retreat, another great weekend, as always.

Jessica has kindly volunteered to do a make and take with her Stamping Up range. We will be doing stamping on a candle and making a box. If you would like to join in on the make and take, the cost is $7 plus the usual club fee ($8). PLEASE can you let us know as soon as possible if you would like to join in so that Jessica can organise kits etc. The cut off date will be 12th November so that Jessica has plenty of time. Thank you for your cooperation.

Also, Jessica has asked if you have a Stampn Up Catalogue could you bring it with you, thanks ladies.

Christmas in July 2017

Hi all, sorry for the late blog, sometimes life gets in the way of fun, unfortunately.
We had a great Christmas in July, thank you for those that came, lots of chatting and laughter. Dilys, Christina and I showed everybody the amazing art work we did on a recent class with Helen's (Ross aka Lorna Blue) friend, Vicky Phelps drawing crazy birds and faces. Next time I hope you all join us because Vicky is an amazing teacher and Helen is a great host (yummy food).
